grew up just outside of Denver Colorado with her parents and four
older siblings. Her family spent much of their free time exploring the mountains of
Colorado, sparking her passion for hiking, fishing, backpacking and snowboarding.
Kate first fell in love with Montana when she moved to Bozeman in 1993 to attend
Montana State University. After returning to Denver she started her professional
career as an event planner, fundraising for the nonprofit Children Diabetes
Foundation. Eventually she transitioned to the event and trade show industry where
she worked as an account, project and logistics manager. Kate had always dreamed
of moving back to Montana and did just that in 2016, eventually finding her home in
Livingston. In her down time she loves to take advantage of the outdoor adventures
the area has to offer with her border collie, Rip, as well as cooking, puttering in her
garden, traveling and going to concerts.

Jack was fortunate to be able to lead expeditions for a highly respected and original
brand in outdoor education, Outward Bound. After honing his skills and growing
within the organization, Jack then transitioned to Eagle Rock School, a philanthropic
endeavor of Honda Motor Company, where he was responsible for running a
residential high school outdoor program, specializing in facilitating extended
expeditions in order to foster community and personal growth. Even teaming up to
produce a documentary film about his work, aptly titled: All Who Dare. Looking for a
new challenge, Jack came to PFL in 2018. Jack is an avid snowboarder, and enjoys
mountain biking, hockey and fishing.
