Logos are best supplied as vectors in formats like AI, EPS or PDF.

Images for print are usually supplied at 300 DPI at final size. Low-resolution images print soft or pixelated.

It loses sharpness when enlarged. Common formats include JPG, PNG and TIFF.

A common margin is 0.125 in (3 mm) inside the trim line. Cutting varies slightly, so anything inside the safe zone is protected from being clipped.

They sit outside the bleed area and guide the cutter. Many print services add them automatically, so uploaded files usually do not need them.

It is the size you order, such as 4 x 6 in or 8.5 x 11 in. Artwork files are built larger than trim size to include bleed.
