C1S and C2S

C1S and C2S stand for Coated One Side and Coated Two Sides paper stock. C1S is a cover stock with a glossy finish on one side and uncoated on the other, usually between 8 pt (.008 in) and 18 pt (.018 in) thick.

C1S is glossy on the outside and uncoated inside, which suits greeting cards and folders. C2S is coated on both faces.
