different media organizations in Colorado, Idaho and South Dakota, she made her
way back to her hometown. Throughout her career, Melanie has received numerous
state, regional and national press association advertising and design awards. As a
child and through her teenage years, she showed her horses in 4H and AQHA horse
shows around Montana and qualified for the American Junior Quarter Horse
Association Youth World Horse Show, where she showed in Showmanship. As a
senior in high school, she ran for, and won, the Miss Livingston Round-Up Queen
competition and represented Livingston at the Miss Rodeo Montana competition in
the following year where she was named Miss Congeniality. Outside of work,
Melanie enjoys photography, painting (pictures, not houses), books, performing in
plays, hiking to Fairy Lake and venturing out to catch the occasional fish. Her time at
home is spent playing with her cat that she's had since 1999, and her cocker spaniel.
Mark Geyer was born and raised in San Mateo, California - a wonderful community on the San Francisco peninsula. He graduated from San Jose State University in 1978 with a journalism degree and a dream to be a sports writer. While covering prep and college sports for the local daily, he found that running a printing press in San Francisco was a better paycheck and lots of fun. Mark remained in The City for a long career in the printing industry, settling in with a specialty in plant management. He moved with his wife and children to Kalispell, Montana in 2007, then to Bozeman 6 years later to join the PFL team. Mark enjoys camping, hiking, fishing, books, movies, music and following his beloved Giants & Niners.
