New Age Beer with Historical Sense of Humor

The possibilities are endless for custom or standard die cut business cards from PrintingForLess.com. A unique business card can help you advertise your product or service in the hands of your customers. With options from foil stamping to embossing to die cutting and so much more, your business card is sure to stand out from the norm. 21st Amendment Brewery had us create these beer can shaped business cards for their employees, better known as “Beeraucrats,” sounds like a pretty great job to me! This card in particular showcases their extra pale session ale, “Bitter American.”

Nico Freccia and Shaun O’Sullivan founded 21st Amendment Brewery in 2000 in San Francisco, CA. 21st Amendment was cleverly named after the 21st Amendment to the Constitution which repealed Prohibition, thank goodness. The owners of the brewery feel that prohibition wiped out the ability of neighbors and families alike to gather and relax over a tall, cold one. Some of the craft brews offered by 21st Amendment are; the ”Sneak Attack” Saison, appropriately named after Washington’s attack by crossing the Delaware as well as the, “Back in Black” IPA, created to commemorate Paul Revere’s moonlit ride to Lexington, MA. Who wouldn’t want to sit back and embrace America’s past over a can of historically correct craft beer?

Belly Bands to Polish Your Image

No, these are not some sort of redneck girdle device. Belly bands are an attractive way to package your printed material or product. They provide practical functionality while giving you prime space to display your branding and communicate your message.

Some businesses include coupons and creative incentives to gain customer retention. The first product is already in the customer’s hands, so it is an ideal way to connect with them on future sales.
Our four-color process and top quality papers will ensure your belly bands are attractive with a commercial level appeal. We offer specialty papers, textures, unique effects like foil stamping, and peel and stick adhesives. Need help with your print? Talk to a live print expert today: 800-930-7978.

Dance as a Movement

It’s not every day you have the opportunity to experience a dance company that is more than merely art or entertainment. InterSession, a dance and guard creative company, have dedicated their existence to “raising up potentially high risk youth, who in turn, become mentors to others.” Located in Memphis, TN, this organization examines real life situations in their works that will identify with the issues today’s youth face. Edgy, creative, and exploratory, this dance company reaches out to a young generation which is hungry for authentic understanding and connection.

Taking this work a step further, they are getting ready to put on a production entitled, a song of Sixpence, for which all proceeds will go to victims of human trafficking. This is a significant undertaking and deserves serious attention. You can support this amazingly creative and altruistic work by visiting their website at www.intersession.org.

InterSession director, Janis Leffler, leads this troupe of performers to employ their talents for the greater good. The upcoming production will be on May 18th at 7:00pm at the Buckman Performing Arts Center in Memphis. If you are in the area, you will not want to miss this opportunity to experience the performance and to be a part of contributing to the victims of human trafficking.

They recently printed this engaging postcard to promote the event. We love the artistic design and powerful use of imagery. When is has to be right, Printing for Less will help your postcards, brochures, or direct mailers, be top notch. Thank you for your business InterSession, and thank you for the powerful impact you are having on your local and the global community.

Magic, Microphones, and Merriment

Dave Attwood, of Langford, British Columbia, Canada has been entertaining audiences worldwide with one of the top ranked pod-casts on the planet earth. That’s right, earth is proud to have him be a voice for magicians and comedians everywhere. His show, aptly named, “The Dave Attwood Show”, is a platform to rant about everything from current events to evolutionary psychology (feel free to look that one up, I had to). Dave takes to the “pod-waves” with his co-host, Jen Stevens, and nothing is off-limits.

Their quirky, upbeat style is easy to listen to and is even somewhat informative. You can hear a few of their recent podcasts to get a feel for their witty banter and inviting style. I noticed that Dave is growing in the iTunes rankings, so I cordially invite you to help him climb the iTunes podcast charts. You will be helping a great show while being entertained, thrilled, and stimulated; mentally of course. Just go to iTunes and search Dave Atwood, you will find what you are looking for and can subscribe from there.

We like our neighbors, the Canadians. We are happy to help you with your print project Canada Printing even if you are North of our border, or if we are South of your border, depending on your perspective. Dave prints his business cards with us. His logo is straight forward, just like his show and the cards look fantastic. Dave had this to say about his recent printing experience with PrintingForLess.com, “I sincerely can not say enough just how thrilled I am to have used your services. I will DEFINITELY be using your company for ALL my printing needs.” Thanks, Dave, we appreciate your business!

Taxi! – Marketing with an Effective Postcard

Don’t get taken for a ride while you’re getting taken for a ride.

Who wouldn’t want to ride in one of the KEY LIME TAXI’s fleet of vehicles? They are top quality, clean, and come in white and vibrant lime green. You can’t miss them. Started in 2011 by a police detective, the company is making taxi service for area residents fair and affordable. The company is both environmentally and budget friendly. The hybrid vehicles save on gas and that savings is passed on to the customer. The Key Lime Taxi Company rewards repeat customers with a V.I.P. Card that entitles them to $1.00 off of every ride they take.

They recently printed these cards with PrintingForLess.com. This stunning black and bright green card was printed on 100# uncoated cover stock with a dull matte finish, giving it a sophisticated feel. The company’s logo is perfect with a key lime shape rising above a classy vintage vehicle, doubling as its roof line. Good logo design is half the battle.  Creating a printed piece to promote your business in a memorable fashion is “key” to getting the results you desire. Postcards: Not Just for Vacation Anymore…

Yes, by all means, mail a postcard of the Roosevelt Arch to your favorite Aunt Gerty, she loves hearing from you. Postcards are indeed for thoughtful vacationers, but more than that, postcards are a tool to expand your business.

According to recent findings by the USPS, direct mail is considered more valuable than any digital method of advertising. The value of reaching out to your potential customers via traditional mail is stronger than ever in light of massive inundation via digital channels. The fact is, postcards get read. Colorful, well designed postcards have the potential to drive consumers to your business for increased sales.

Hundreds of direct mail pieces pass through our presses on a weekly basis. We’ve seen the best and the worst. The design and value of your piece is important because you don’t want the recipient to classify it as “junk mail”.

Equipping you with the knowledge you need to create a successful direct mail piece is a top priority for us. The key is to develop a card that grabs the attention of your target audience and even invites them to interact in unique ways.

POSTCARD IDEAS THAT WILL HELP YOUR DIRECT MAIL PIECE BE A SUCCESS:

  • Include a call to action on the postcard (i.e. Bring This Card in Before March 17th to Receive 25% off Your Entire Purchase of $50.00 or more!)
  • Incorporate vibrant colors and high-quality images.
  • Use a QR Code to increase interaction with your postcard.
  • Enhance the basic card with visually appealing elements like foil stamping.
  • Increase tactile interest with an embossed section or creatively use a die cut.
  • Add a coupon or time-sensitive offer; this is a super way to make the piece valuable.
  • Consider using scented inks or scratch and sniff to make the mailer original.
  • This may seem obvious, but you’d be surprised how often it gets overlooked: Make sure all your contact information is on the piece and, if applicable, your location.
  • Don’t make your design too busy. Make sure you have some “white space” for the eye to land on.
  • Folds and glued-on extras (i.e. a free song download card with access code) are another way to stand out from the ordinary.
