Cole Flikkema was raised in Three Forks, MT. As a homeschool student from the 4th grade on, he was given the unique opportunity to have time to pursue musical education in the form of private fiddle lessons. After graduating from high school in 2003, he spent a couple of years working at a ranch in Judith Gap, Three Forks Saddlery, and pouring concrete - until he decided to pursue further education at South Plains College in Levelland, TX in their Live Sound Reinforcement program. After graduating in 2007, he moved to Waxahachie, TX to attend Southwestern Assemblies of God University to work as a Media Technician and continue his education. During his fourth year there he met the girl who would become his wife, Katie. They moved to Des Moines, and were married in July, 2012 in Perry, IA. They decided to move to Montana so they could be near his family (with the added bonus that she could pursue finishing her degree at MSU). Everything began to fall into place and he now finds himself part of the enterprising PFL family!
