Rainy Martin spent her childhood in Maryland and her college years in Oberlin, Ohio, then moved to Berkeley, California to avoid seasonal changes and snow. There, she found a career in non-profit management. An unusual children's summer camp lured her to Montana in 1998. After serving as a counselor for the summer, she returned to Berkeley, sold most of her belongings and moved to Livingston permanently, despite dire warnings of below zero weather and frequent snows. At her next post of ranch manager, she fell in love with a fifth-generation Montanan and married him. She and her husband live on the family ranch just outside of Livingston with five dogs, two cats, and too many horses. Rainy's experience also includes serving as the Executive Director of the Stafford Animal Shelter in Livingston, and she is the author of How to Keep Your Woman Happy; A Manual for Men (under her pen name of Skye Hasson). Rainy loves writing, training her puppy, and working on her yard. |

Kerri Baird a Montana native grew up in beautiful Big Timber, MT. Kerri has a passion for traveling and learning about other countries. During high school she traveled to New Zealand as an exchange student. As part of Kerri’s college experience, she visited Germany for a semester. Kerri attended MSU and received degrees in Marketing with a minor in International Business and German. Other activities that she enjoys in her spare time are reading, cooking, and hiking. Don’t be surprised if you run in to Kerri at the hardware store as she is currently in the midst of remodeling a house in Livingston. |

Seth Ward grew up in Northern Wisconsin and moved to Bozeman with his (future) wife Carrie in 1997, where they both attended MSU. Seth studied Earth sciences there, and helped develop a co-operative program between the school & local fire department to map high-density residential areas as an aid to emergency responders. His family owns Sweet Pea Bakery in Bozeman where, prior to starting with PFL, he was the Operations Manager, keeping things running so Carrie could bake and design amazing cakes and desserts. The family, now including their daughter Nela, loves to take any opportunity to get outside, whether it's a stroll on Bozeman's trail system or camping in the Beartooth mountains. |
